Chaplains are as grim in appearance as they are in character. They wear skull-faced death masks and are clad in archaic, ornate armour the shade of blackest night, adorned with purity seals, devotional pendants and holy tokens of battle. Many wear thick chains, cloaks and heavy robes that billow with each purposeful step. Arguably the most distinctive of a Chaplain’s badges of office is his crozius arcanum. A devastating type of power mace, it crackles with an intense disruption field. Combined with the Chaplain’s great strength, it is a deadly weapon with which its wielder crushes skulls, shatters knees and caves in armour.
