The name Skreech Verminking is one that most Skaven dare not utter, for even the most pious Grey Seer shudders at the thought of the Rat King appearing before them. He is the mightiest of all Verminlords and the favoured left claw of the Great Horned Rat. In his time, Verminking has overseen the wholesale destruction of countless proud civilisations and commanded clan-swarms large enough to cover entire continents in a tide of writhing fur. He commands the sum total of all Skaven knowledge: the shadowshifting of Eshin, the ingenuity of Skryre, the fury of Verminus, the plague-mastery of Pestilens and the fleshcraft of Moulder.
